ASTRO2010 State of the Profession Position Papers

The CSMA authored two papers on the state of the profession to the ASTRO2010 Decadal Survey.

  • Executive Summary: Provides the statement of the problem of minority participation in the field, and outlines the content of the two papers.
    • Paper I: Increasing the Number of Underrepresented Minorities in Astronomy at the Undergraduate, Graduate, and Postdoctoral Levels.
    • Paper II: Increasing the Number of Underrepresented Minorities Through K-12 Education and Public Outreach.
