DPS-EPSC Outstanding Poster Contest (OPC)

Posters will be judged based on 1) the relevance of the study, 2) the scientific accuracy, as well as 3) the clarity of presentation. Participation is open to all BSc or MSc students, PhD candidates, as well as scientists that obtained their last degree after 1 January 2023. Participants need to be the first and presenting author of the submitted abstract (please note that a shared award with co-authors or team members is not possible). Each author can register only ONE abstract for the OPC at DPS-EPSC 2023.

The OPC registration is only considered for those abstracts that are selected to be presented as a poster. If the above-mentioned conditions of eligibility are fulfilled, you may sign up for the contest by 27 September 2023.

To sign up to enter the contest, send the lead organizer, Lena Noack ([email protected]) an e-mail with the following details: (1) Full Name, (2) Abstract number from the program (e.g., 410.05), and (3) informal verification of student status (e.g., screenshot of listing in university contact page, or similar).

Deadline extended! Please note that all OPC participants are requested to upload a PDF of their poster by 27 September 2023, 23:59 CEST (same content as printed poster) as online display material on both the MIRA abstract site and the appropriate Slack channel for their session.

As a prize, each awardee will receive a registration waiver that can either be used for the upcoming EPSC2024 or DPS2024.

In case of any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the poster award coordinator Lena Noack.
